Incoming 9th grade students - Ninth Grade Orientation is next week! Please see the attached document and locate the date you are assigned to come in to BCHS to finalize your schedule for next year and purchase lockers. The times will be 8am until noon each day.

Ben Jones Football Camp!

Bibb County High School is proud to be able to offer the 2ND Annual Ben Jones football camp. Ben is a former player at BCHS and the Georgia Bulldogs. He currently is the starting center for the Tennessee Titans of the NFL. He will have current and former college and NFL players working the camp. Please go to the enclosed link to register your child for the FREE camp. The camp is June 7th at BCHS football field.

FREE Youth Football Camp June 7, 2019

Friday, June 7 | Bibb County High School Football Field | 5:00 - 9:00 pm

Join Tennessee Titans Center, Ben Jones #60 and The Jones Mission for the Friday Night Lights FREE Youth Football Camp on Friday June 7 at the Bibb County High School’s Football Field in Centreville, Alabama.

Youth ages 8 through 14 are eligible and must be registered prior to camp to participate. Campers will receive instruction from Ben as well as other professional athletes as they run through drills, games, and receive health + fitness tips.

Open to all high school students (including Spring/Summer 2019 graduates) 15-18 years of age as of first day of assigned session and currently residing in the US.

Spots are limited and filled on a rolling, first-come, first-serve basis.
No payment is required to apply.

Shelton State Summer School classes...for free!!

Bibb County School District will be offering two Shelton State Summer School classes locally at NO COST to students who qualify. These classes are being paid for by the High Hopes Grant. This Grant covers the cost of tuition and books for the students.

English 101, taught by Mrs. Vanessa Dukes, will be offered at WBHS on Monday & Wednesday's from 3:30-5:30.

Math 100, taught by Mrs. Linda Conklan, will be offered at BCHS on Tuesday & Thursday's from 9:00-11:00.

These classes will be offered to current seniors and current juniors who attend BCHS/WBHS. Students must apply to Shelton State Community College and meet the college requirements in order to take the classes. Deadline to apply is May 3, 2019. Students please see your school counselor for more details.

Math 100 requires a minimum 18 on the math portion of the ACT, or appropriate accuplacer score, or an A/B in algebra II with Trig and a minimum 2.75 GPA


English 101 requires a minimum 18 on the English portion of the ACT, or a 5 on the writing portion of the Accuplacer

River Walk & Canoe Launch T-Shirts for Sale!

Impact future generations by purchasing a River Walk & Canoe Launch T-Shirt. The proceeds will be donated to help fund the new River Walk & Canoe Launch at the Cahaba River. BCHS students are selling the shirts as part of our Bicentennial School project in an effort to impact future generations of our community!
