Camp Cardiac!!

Open to all high school students (including Spring/Summer 2019 graduates) 15-18 years of age as of first day of assigned session and currently residing in the US.

Spots are limited and filled on a rolling, first-come, first-serve basis.
No payment is required to apply.

Shelton State Summer School classes...for free!!

Bibb County School District will be offering two Shelton State Summer School classes locally at NO COST to students who qualify. These classes are being paid for by the High Hopes Grant. This Grant covers the cost of tuition and books for the students.

English 101, taught by Mrs. Vanessa Dukes, will be offered at WBHS on Monday & Wednesday's from 3:30-5:30.

Math 100, taught by Mrs. Linda Conklan, will be offered at BCHS on Tuesday & Thursday's from 9:00-11:00.

These classes will be offered to current seniors and current juniors who attend BCHS/WBHS. Students must apply to Shelton State Community College and meet the college requirements in order to take the classes. Deadline to apply is May 3, 2019. Students please see your school counselor for more details.

Math 100 requires a minimum 18 on the math portion of the ACT, or appropriate accuplacer score, or an A/B in algebra II with Trig and a minimum 2.75 GPA

English 101 requires a minimum 18 on the English portion of the ACT, or a 5 on the writing portion of the Accuplacer

River Walk & Canoe Launch T-Shirts for Sale!

Impact future generations by purchasing a River Walk & Canoe Launch T-Shirt. The proceeds will be donated to help fund the new River Walk & Canoe Launch at the Cahaba River. BCHS students are selling the shirts as part of our Bicentennial School project in an effort to impact future generations of our community!

LEEP Program!

CSP’s Learn and Earn Employment Program (LEEP) is an employment skills training program. LEEP will deliver eight weeks of classroom training and entry-level work experience for out-ofschool youth, between the ages of 16 and 24 years. Our goal is that all youth who successfully complete the program will enter full-time employment, the military or postsecondary/advanced training that leads to an industry recognized credential.

2019 Dixie Boys Baseball Inc. Scholarship!

Outstanding High School Seniors who have participated in a franchised Dixie Boys Baseball, Incorporated program and plan to pursue undergraduate studies at a college or university may apply. Dixie Boys Baseball, Incorporated programs include Dixie Boys Baseball for boys 13 and 14 years old; Dixie Pre-Majors Baseball for boys 15 thru 17 years old; and Dixie Majors Baseball for boys 15 thru 19 years old.
