Create QR Codes with Firefox
- Open Firefox.
- On the Tools menu click Add Ons.
- Search for QR code image generator.
- Beside QR Code Image Generator, click Install.
- Restart Firefox. Click the QR Code Generator icon which appears in the lower left corner of the web browser.

is a web based free tool that helps you quickly grade multiple-choice or fill-in-blank assignments. It computes average assignment score. It computes average score per question, and flags low-scoring questions. Shows you a grade distribution graph. Gives you option to email each student their grade, and an answer key. Lets you send individualized feedback to each student. Click here

iPad and Android Apps for Education
Scan QR Code (iOS and Android): (Quick Scan Code) Use this app to scan QR codes. Scavenger hunts! Link to site, newsletters, or students work. Allow students to explore QR codes that are in our building.
Socrative Student (iOS and Android): Teachers log in with device and select an activity that controls the flow of questions and games. Students simply login with their device and interact in real time with the content.
Khan Academy (iOS and Android): Gives students access to an endless number of free educational videos. Khan’s ability to explain the most basic and complex subjects in brief videos is impressive, engaging and educational. Student can customize their learning as they select tutorials they are interested in. Khan Academy creates content that supplements K-12 math, science and history concepts that students learn in the classroom.
BrainPOP Featured Movie (iOS and Android): Delivers fresh movies, quizzes, and bonus features. It covers relevant topics including current events, historical figures and milestones, holidays, curricular subjects and more.
Multiplication Genius (iOS and Android): Makes your brain do better and keeps it young. The app takes the times tables up to 19s, but it is also good for those still practicing the regular tables.
How To Make Origami (iOS and Android): app is simple and easy to use. Follow the step-by-step instructions and watch 3D animation carefully, you’d have to try really hard to get confused. Making paper airplanes, see origami, develops logical reasoning, attention span , spatial thinking and fine motor skills. Consider that when you are trying to keep your fidgety students busy.
Stack The States (iOS and Android): This app is a fun game for learning about the 50 states. Watch the states actually come to life in this colorful and dynamic game. You earn a random state for every successfully completed level.
Fit Brains Trainer (iOS and Android): Sparky’s Adventure is complete brain training consisting of a collection of fun brain games that tie into the Fit Brain scoring and tracking system. This adaptive learning system automatically scores each game to match a student’s level to deliver the appropriate challenge in each of the five cognitive areas.
Duolingo (iOS and Android): You can learn Spanish, German, French (for English speakers) and English (for the Spanish speakers), and many more languages will be added to the system over the next months.
ClassDojo (iOS and Android): This app helps teachers improve behavior in their classroom quickly and easy. It captures and generates data on behavior that teachers can share with parents and administrators.
Random Number Generator (iOS and Android): This app which generates random numbers from a range eg 1- 10,000 and is ideal for types of games.
Book Creator (iOS and Android): The simple way to create your own beautiful iBooks, right on your iPad. Read them in iBooks, send them to friends, submit them to the iBookstore. Idea for students picture book, art books, cook books, manuals, textbooks, and more.
Pixlr Express (iOS and Android): This is a fun and powerful photo editor that lets you quickly crop, rotate and fine tune any picture, all in a completely ad-free experience. Choose from over 2 million combinations of free effects, overlays, and borders to further personalize your image. Pixlr Express makes you look like a pro, even if you’ve never edited a photo before.
Jim and Frank Mysteries (iOS): Great puzzle game. It follows the adventures of two friends Jim and Frank. Players must interact with the locals and gather clues by solving a series of puzzles which span all sorts of genres, from logic puzzles, to math problems, to sliding puzzles and more.
The Human Body (iOS): is the first app in the Tinybop Explore’s Library Everything from the bones and brain to cells and veins is animated by particle physics in this interactive playset. Students can poke, probe and examine the skeletal, muscular, nervous, circulatory, respiratory, and digestive systems. Each app contains a recording tool so you can ask questions, listen and respond.
Brownie Points (iOS): This a common core standards - based math practice and learning app that helps students learn and master math. As added incentive for practicing math, the app automatically awards great games like Angry Bird . Cut The Rope. Fruit Ninja and many more.
Video Science (iOS): is for science teachers, students and science enthusiasts alike. The experiments and demonstrations are aligned with topics in elementary, middle, and high school science curricula.
Too Noisy (iOS): A noise level meter built to help control the noise level of groups of students. As the noise level i a classroom increases beyond an acceptable level the noise meter dynamically indicates the level of noise, and the background graphics within the app changes to reflect the noise levels.
Educreations (iOS): turns your iPad into a recordable whiteboard. Creating a great video tutorial is as simple touching, tapping and talking. Create a lesson a commentary or explain a math formula.
Sock Puppets (iOS): lets you create your own lip-synched videos and share them on Facebook and YouTube. Add Puppets, props, scenery, and backgrounds and start creating.
Inspiration (iOS): You will be amazed at how easy it is to build diagrams, maps and organizers.

Splashtop Whiteboard: The app allows teachers and students to turn their iPad into an interactive whiteboard.
