Football Coordinators

Coach Kevin May is the Head Baseball Coach and Offensive Coordinator for the Choctaws. He is entering his 10th season at Bibb County High School. During this time, the Choctaw football team has advanced to the first, second, and third round of the 4A state playoffs and the second and third round of the 5A state playoffs. May and the offensive staff have led the Choctaws to a 32 points per game scoring average over the past nine seasons. Coach May was named the 2019 ALFCA Class 5A Assistant Coach of the Year.
In his eight seasons as Head Baseball Coach, the Choctaw Baseball team has advanced to the second, third, and fourth round of the 4A state playoffs and the third round of the 5A playoffs.
In previous years, Coach May was the inside receivers and defensive backs coach as well as an assistant baseball coach at Demopolis High School. May played college baseball at East Mississippi Community College and earned his bachelor’s degree in physical education at The University of West Alabama.
Coach Kevin May and his wife, Nicki, have two daughters, Monroe and Nixon.



Coach Cody Sellers joined the Choctaw family for the 2024 season as Defensive Coordinator. His previous stints include head coaching positions at Pleasant Home High School and Excel as well as assistant coaching positions in the state.
He is married to Ashley, and they have three children, Jackson, Cody, and Larkin.
