Guidance Counselor

High school guidance counselors support students, families, and staff across four core areas to ensure overall student success:

• Academic Growth: Course scheduling, graduation credit tracking, and academic interventions or learning accommodations.

• Post-Secondary Prep: Guidance on college applications, financial aid, trade programs, military enlistment, and workforce entry.

• Social-Emotional Support: Confidential short-term counseling, crisis response, and referrals for long-term mental health care.

• Career Readiness: Career interest assessments, resume building, interview preparation, and job placement assistance.
